This stunning stone building sits proudly in Vieussan, a typical and charming village in south of France, just an hour drive north from Béziers or an hour and a half west from Montpellier. It boasts an incredible view over the Orb Valley and the rolling vineyards.
With its rustic exposed beams, sturdy stone walls, warm terracotta tiles, and cozy vaulted rooms, this place is so charming. And in summer, those thick walls keep things wonderfully cool. It's perfect for family getaways, with plenty of space for kids, grandkids, and friends to spread out and enjoy.
You can stroll or cycle to the house through the village's winding lanes. Inside, the main part of the house spans two levels: downstairs, you'll find the living areas – a comfy lounge, a welcoming dining room, and a well-equipped kitchen – as well as two sunny terraces facing east and south. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Attached but separate, the gîte has its own entrances. It's got character too, with a lovely vaulted kitchen and dining area, a cozy loft lounge, a bathroom, and a bedroom. Downstairs, there's another big room, a chill-out space with a jacuzzi and terrace, plus a cute little extra bedroom.
Practical bits: Life in the village is tranquil (cars park at the village entrance), and if you need supplies, there are shops just 4 km away in Mons – a grocery store, bakery, café, restaurants, and even bike rental.
And for exploring : the Caroux massif is a hiker's and climber's dream, the Gorges d'Héric are perfect for a cooling dip, and the 'Passa Païs' greenway offers up some breathtaking scenery.
So why not start planning your next escape? A VIRTUAL TOUR is ready and waiting for you."
